He stayed busy into his early 90’s; he enjoyed mowing his own yard, cutting his own fire wood, building deer stands and fighting off beavers and alligators. He loved nature and all it had to offer-duck hunting, deer hunting and, well, just about any kind of hunting. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, squirrels, and deer on his property. The kitchen has beautiful granite counter tops, a butcher block island, two stainless steel ovens, refrigerator, microwave and a 5 gas burner stove for all of your cooking needs and desires. Adjacent to the kitchen is a study and dining room that provides seating for six. The two bedrooms have a jack and jill bathroom that share a shower/bathtub and toilet. Laundry detergent is provided so that you can do your laundry during your stay if desired. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, See's chocolates, and sparkling cider are provided complimentary for being our guests. We do have a few areas that will not be accessible including the master bedroom closet, the upstairs bonus room, the garage and kitchen pantry.

This is a colonial style two bedroom townhouse condo located less than 1 mile from Tech campus one-half mike from Downtown. The kitchen and bathroom have all the necessary supplies. Just bring your clothes and you are ready to rest and relax here. There are 4 stairs up to the front door (see pic). The Kitchen and Living areas are downstairs, and the bedrooms are upstairs. There is a family dollar store located one half block away if you need any convenience items. No Animals and No Smoking.

You’ll love my place because of the location, the outdoors space, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Meadows Manor was built in 1941. It is three stories and is 4200 square feet. Guy and Faye Barnes are only the second owners of the home. It is now a wedding and event venue as well as a bed and breakfast. No one resides in the home. We are located in downtown Ruston.

This upscale, refined Ruston 2BR/2 B is adjacent to Louisiana Tech University. Additionally the heart of downtown is only two blocks away that boasts a great variety of restaurants, galleries and shopping. The house features exquisite tile and wood flooring and a great park setting back parking. From the second you walk into this house, you will know you found the perfect spot. Your initial steps take you into our first living area which includes a full size sofa -- which may be used for an extra bed. As you continue into the house you will find the open floor plan kitchen and dining area. We have a handsome wood table that seats 4, and counter stools for 2 people. The kitchen, featuring granite counter tops and stainless appliances, makes a subtle, yet impressive statement and is well stocked with all the tools needed to create a gourmet meal. The living area has a huge smartTV mounted. Our master bedroom has wood floors with high ceilings, a queen bed and full bathroom . Our home is situated near all of the neighborhood comforts, such as the Dog House restaurant, coffee shops, Mexican and Italian restaurants. The Fashion and Chartreuse Pear, upscale ladies shops are just steps away. Louisiana Tech football at Joe Ailet Stadium is only a four blocks away. A little bit south will bring you to a bike route which runs parallel to railroad and connects La Tech to downtown Ruston, where you can watch amazing sunsets of the downtown skyline. If you enjoy nature walks, head to Lincoln Parish Park less than a 10 minute drive north with attractions that also include hike-n-bike trails and a lake.

Our kitchen is well stocked with spices and cookware and has a large dining table which seats 6-8 comfortably (although we've had as many as 10 around the table at family gatherings). The living room is inviting with 2 couches and a relaxing recliner; enjoy cheering on your favorite sports teams (Geaux LSU Tigers and Saints!) or watching your favorite shows on HBO, Showtime and Netflix on our 58" 4K HD Smart TV. Off the main area are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The corner and middle bedrooms have very comfortable queen beds with pillow top mattresses and the Master has a very comfortable king size bed with a pillow top mattress. Outdoors is a delight for all ages; from playing corn hole and ping pong to relaxing and having a glass of wine with a view of the lake! Or, cast a line in the water and see what you can catch; we have shared lots of fishing stories through the years! By night, enjoy the outdoors fishing from the lighted dock or next to the fire pit as you unwind and share good times and s’mores! Without any doubt, our place is a special treat for fishermen; we have generations of fishermen in our family and we've had many fish fry's with fish that were caught just hours earlier. Lake D'Arbonne has become a popular destination for some of the most desirable fishing and tournaments. Other fun activities include board games and cards. We love Monopoly and Yahtzee just to name a few. Additional notes: Because we are located so close to the lake, it is worth noting that children should wear life jackets while outside and have full supervision of an adult. Also, being on the lake often means that you will see bugs that have made their way indoors. A screened in porch accessible from the dining area will allow enjoyment of rain showers and peaceful night sounds completely bug free! You will enjoy ceiling fans throughout. The lower level can be a unit to itself, sleeping six set up bottom bunk style and boasts its own small kitchen with refrigerator and dining table. The lower level opens to a covered patio with a wrought iron table and chairs, grill and fish fryer!

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Tentrr guests will also have access to state park bathroom facilities in the immediate area of their site and across the park. Please be advised that some facilities will not always be right next to your site. Also, some bathroom facilities in the park may be closed seasonly.
